Kenworth’s All New Highway Truck In Complete Production

The all new highway truck from Kenworth the T700 is now under complete production at one of company’s truck plant in Ohio.
Speaking on the progress of the development of the truck, Mr. Marilyn Santangelo, Kenworth Assistant General Manager for Operations, said, “We’re seeing positive signs about the demand of T700 in the current market and it is expected to grow even further as the customers starts buying the fuel-efficient, aerodynamic trucks and as soon as the T700 becomes frequently visible on the roads. The sale is also expected to grow the business and the economy strengthens.”
The things became more confident when Kenworth received an order of 500 T700s recently from Stevens Transport outside Dallas, Texas. According to Kenworth, their T700 possess lower drag than any other trucks have had in their company’s history.
The T700 will be made available with either with the Cummins ISX and Paccar MX engine.
