The Ford Rangers have always bought in much excitement and thrills; the new Ford comes with excellent affordable pricing along by giving you good and decent fuel economy. The main element in the new machine is its four cylinder engine that delivers the best performance along with decent fuel economy, the new Ranger has been designed with smaller dimensions to give you a better maneuverability. It has been almost a decade since the time Ford ever came up with major redesign on its compact pickup truck segment, but with this truck the hopes have risen giving you a positive stand to see something new and exciting in the trucking world. The 2011 Ford Ranger is a new redesigned, full revamped forth generation machine that has good electronic stability control features along with side impact airbags. The biggest drawback in the new Ford Ranger is its back dated design.

Now, lets have some briefer look at the new Ford Ranger’s body styles and varied trim level options. The latest 2011 Ford Ranger is compact pick up truck that is available in a regular cab and extended cab body style versions. The new machine is available in three trim levels that are the XL trim, the XLT trim version and the Sport trim version. The machine boosts of 6 foot bed that is a standard option along with all cab style options as well. The XL version of the new machine comes with a trailer hitch, 15 inch steel wheels, vinyl upholstery, 60/40 front bench seat, air conditioning, and an AM/FM stereo option features. The XLT trim version comes with cloth upholstery, fog lamps, upgraded exterior trim version, leather wrapped tilt steering wheel, full power accessories, keyless entry system, auxiliary audio jack and satellite radio system. The 2011 Ford Ranger XLT trim version comes with heavy duty shock absorbers, 15 inch alloy wheels, tow hooks, etc. the Ranger sport version comes with upgraded wheels of 16 inch alloy wheels exclusively on 4×4 models. Other features would include a center console, bucket seat, skid plates, full size spare tire, sidestep bars and other options.

The optional payload package offers rear spring rates, rear tinted glass features, heavy duty shock absorbers, rear sliding window, bedliner and other optional features that are included in a Sport and XLT trim version. The 2011 Ford Ranger powertrain includes equipments like 2.3 liter inline 4 that is capable of producing 143 horsepower and gives out 154 pound feet of torque. It also consists of a five speed manual transmission as a standard feature along with five speed automatic transmission as an optional feature. The safety features in the new 2011 Ford Ranger includes system like front seat side airbags, side curtain airbags, antilock disc brakes, stability control and other options.
